Every tie we list is checked by hand before it goes online. Here is exactly what that means.

Authentication

We confirm the brand on every piece — from heritage British names like Marks & Spencer, Tootal and Charles Tyrwhitt to designer labels such as Hermès, Hugo Boss and Ted Baker. Where a tie is unbranded or the label has been lost to time, we say so plainly.

Exact measurements

Each tie is measured individually. We list the full length and the blade width so you know precisely what you're buying — no guesswork, no surprises. If you need a standard, modern, or skinny width for a particular look, the measurements will tell you.

Condition

All ties are vintage or pre-owned and may show light signs of wear consistent with age. We photograph each one as it actually is and note any marks, pulls or fading. The tie in the photographs is the exact tie you'll receive.

One of one

Stock is unique. When a tie sells, it's gone — there is only ever one of each. New pieces are added every day.
